Today we remember one of the world's greatest scientists: Marie Skłodowska Curie. Curie dedicated her life to science. She was the first woman to be awarded a Nobel Prize, the first person to be awarded twice and is still the only person to receive the prize in two different scientific fields. Curie died #OTD in 1934.

We are happy to welcome another new member of our team, Jannick van Ossenbruggen. In his PhD, he will be using computational protein engineering tools to engineer, express and characterize novel Ice-binding proteins to elucidate relations between IBP structure and function.🎉

Last Marie Curie @SuperCol_ITN meeting was held in Eindhoven. An end to great three years of collaboration and friendship, which will continue for a long time to come . It was a pleasure to be part of this vibrant group with two of our last year PhDs, Barbara and Bahar. 👏
