so i went hard on the new crop of voice transcription tools and tried these (in that order)
1. VoiceOS
2. Monologue
3. Almond
4. Lemon
they're all pretty good besides #4.
obv they do the same thing but i found VoiceOS to be the best. simple UX, clean UI elements, and mostly reliable
yah it's less whimisical than Monologue and lacks a cool auto-styling feature of Almond but those features didn't top it for me.

@VoiceOSApp Would be really cool if microphone is not detected, it didn't wait until you finish your whole prompt to tell you nothing's being detected, and it should allow you to quick switch to another microphone. Not to compare, but WisperFlow does this very well.

@VoiceOSApp Yes, I tested with quite a few other keys and it works, they turn blue correctly. Despite that, the “Yes” button is still not clickable.

@Wisibility Thanks for the feedback! Does the button turn blue like in the screenshot? Have you tried any keys besides F3? That will help us narrow down the issue.

@VoiceOSApp Hello, I’m stuck here in the onboarding. Everything seems fine when I enter the key of my choice, but the “Yes” button stays greyed out 😢
