What I’m told at day job Year 1: Sit at your desk. If you’re not there, it’s not a good look. Year 3: You’re doing well but we’ll still point out the smallest things. Not a good look. Year 5: Yes we have downtime but don’t use that time to better yourself at your desk. Not a good look. Year 7: Congratulations! you’re promoted to Team Lead. You look stressed, burnt out, and exhausted… not a good look. I just want a career in voice over.
