Ignite 2026 Preseason – Competitive Integrity Update
Hi Rivals,
We appreciate the community's support and cooperation as we continue to uphold the integrity of Marvel Rivals esports.
Following concerns raised during a recent Preseason match in the Americas region, player Jitward of Yeah We Lost [YWL] was reviewed for a potential competitive integrity issue.
Investigation Results
It has been confirmed that player Jitward did not use XIM or any similar form of cheating tool.
During the investigation, it was detected that Jitward's controller registered minor movement inputs while using keyboard and mouse. This behavior is inconsistent with Wooting-mapped simulated controller input, and no controller button inputs other than minor movement were detected. This suspicion has been cleared.
Rule Reiteration
Effective from this week's matches, the use of any unauthorized config, ini, mod, or macro will be ruled as a violation by the official. The following actions are strictly prohibited in all official matches:
- Use of any unauthorized configuration files (config or ini) that alter in-game behavior
- Use of any client-side modifications (mods) that provide a competitive advantage, including but not limited to modifications affecting recoil, camera shake, UI overlays, or other gameplay elements
- Use of macros or any form of input automation tools
- Use of any external hardware or software designed to manipulate or emulate input methods
- Deliberate destruction or concealment of match-related recordings or streaming VODs
We remain fully committed to maintaining a healthy and fair competitive environment. Any form of cheating or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and will be subject to strict review and penalties in accordance with the tournament rulebook.
Let’s keep the momentum going and look forward to the exciting matches ahead! 🔥
