My impression after 2.5 hours is that it is recognisably Forgotten Realms D&D so im right at home as a BG2 vet. Plays surprisingly well on a Steamdeck. The copious flashy cinematics seem like a waste of memory however. “Woke” elements are low key and not enough to spoil.

@Aris_Utensil I don't get how people ever got into WoW to begin with. I played it once when I was 15 and it really wasnt fun or interesting to me. I preferred the french turn based Dofus game.

Likely to be a massively unpopular opinion, but how on earth someone can get into turn based anything after ploughing their way through vanilla WoWs PvP days is beyond me.
Its like being expected to like American football when you've been spoiled by the VASTLY superior spectacle that is rugby.
