It's so hard for people to even get a foot in the door when it comes to getting their own place. Most properties here seem to be house shares and even then they're expensive when most jobs are min wage. I truly understand why people with family stay with them for years 🥲

Yes it's hot in the UK and no I can't be quiet about it. I CAN'T EVEN FATHOM SITTING AT THE DESK RIGHT NOW 🫩

@Ronin_Night789 It really is. A lot of people I know my age here live in house shares because the job market here sucks and competition for even part time jobs is high. Unless you win the lottery it feels pretty hopeless some days 🥲 sad to see so many going through it.

@DarkLordAldrock It's super disheartening right? Worse when you venture out and see abandoned homes and you're like? That could be someone's world if things were different. Saving for years just to get hit with rising cost of living when you finally move out. Sucks so bad 😔
