Η αύξηση των περιστατικών βίας κατά της LGBTQI+ κοινότητας δεν είναι τυχαία. Μετά τις επιθέσεις εναντίον μεταναστών, βλέπουμε να στοχοποιούνται συστηματικά και τα ΛΟΑΤΚΙ άτομα. Αυτή η διολίσθηση στο μίσος και τον διχασμό δεν είναι απλώς κοινωνικό φαινόμενο, αλλά αποτέλεσμα πολιτικών επιλογών και ανοχής σε ρητορικές μίσους που νομιμοποιούν τέτοιες πράξεις. Αρκετά. Ως Volt, λέμε ξεκάθαρα: Οι πολιτικές δυνάμεις που καλλιεργούν το μίσος και επενδύουν στον διχασμό έχουν ευθύνη. Ευθύνη για την τοξική ατμόσφαιρα που έχει δημιουργηθεί και για την ατιμωρησία που θρέφει τέτοιες συμπεριφορές. Όταν τα πράγματα φτάνουν εδώ, η σιωπή είναι συνενοχή. Απαιτούμε από την πολιτεία άμεση δράση. Όχι απλώς να βρει και να τιμωρήσει τους δράστες, αλλά να σταματήσει να ανέχεται τις δυνάμεις που υποκινούν τέτοιο μίσος. Ζητούμε την άμεση εφαρμογή μέτρων κατά του ρατσισμού και της ομοφοβίας, την προστασία της LGBTQI+ κοινότητας και την καταδίκη κάθε μορφής βίας. @AcceptCY
