#OOC my Mum always said renting tapes damaged the heads on VHS players, so we either got original tapes, or taped stuff off TV (mainly me, once I got my own VCR as a pre-teen/early teen).

#OOC 16. I was never a member of a video rental store, I taped my music mainly from CDs or other cassette tapes, and I was too young to send faxes or pay with cheques. Otherwise, yes, I am absolutely old enough to have done all of that.

@SuchSweetSour #OOC it's funny, because older millennials who were teens in the early 2000s know that those so-called 'modern' styles are in fact the OG goth/alt hairdos from the 1998-2005 era (Coal Chamber, Drain STH, Kittie, Avril Lavigne, etc.) The cat stripes etc. all come much later.
