@VoteSarahPeters I certainly don’t like this business messaging either. But does seem like some in #NVLeg think #highered should operate as such. Students shouldn’t pay if we can’t show some product goes direct in their hands 🤷♀️. Educators are caught in the middle

Listening to hearing on higher Ed budget of #NVLeg. @VoteSarahPeters seemed to suggest we use economies of scale to lower costs? Pay faculty less, increase class sizes. Sounds quality to me 🤔

@AmyPason @VoteSarahPeters @VoteSarahPeters the cheapest way to serve more students is to rely on part time instructors/adjuncts who receive low pay and no benefits. We are already over reliant on this precarious approach. We need more FT faculty and staff which requires state support.

@AmyPason I also challenged them to document how they could create efficiencies in the use of resources. As you suggest, this may not be possible in an institution dependent on human to human interactions.
