Am just thinking about how marriage age has shifted quickly towards age 40, our girls are being pushed into prostitution despite the abundance of talent.

I can't believe the kind of rubbish we accept as a people, in year 2026. This government is rubbing our faces on the mud with a middle finger.

We deal with a lot in this country, yet no one is held accountable. Network providers ve been terribly bad for over a month now. We keep switching our phones on and off just for messages to go through. We can’t even make Internet calls or enjoy it when it eventually connect.

This is why Kemi Adetiba’s project will always be exceptional in Nigeria. She maintains the proper movie standards. You don’t see any incompetent actor in her movies and she doesn’t give role to anyone because they have large following If you want a role in her film, you will audition for it I remember she once said even Sola Sobowale auditioned for her role Also, Big kudos to Bukola Arugba for not feeling “too big” to publicly audition. Even though she’s already a big brand, she didn’t let that one get into her head That’s how to upholding the standards, and that’s how to teach the upcoming ones that if you want it, you work for it Till today, American actors do audition for movie roles, South African actors do auditions Unlike many Nigerian producers, Americans and South African producers don’t give out movie roles to “their people” or skit makers They don’t do nepotism when it comes to giving out movie scripts, and that is why their works are way way ahead of Nigerian movies and series If you watch two or three South African films and you switch to Nigerian films immediately, even you yourself, you’ll know that you’re downgrading your IQ 9 out of 10 Nigerian movies in cinema today shouldn’t have made it to the cinema if we’re all being honest. Wack storylines and poor makeup effects to poor acting But they are being able to sell it because of their heavy PR and the “fanbase” culture on social media There are 100s of trained actors in Nigeria that are ready to deliver any role given to them, but they won’t get it because your favorite producers won’t conduct audition, they will rather give it to their loyal people, skit makers that have large following on social media, and their fans that defend them on social media There are many movie writers in Nigeria that their brains are working everyday, they are ready to write a FATAL SEDUCTION type of story, SAVAGE BEAUTY and BLOOD & WATER kind of story But your favorite producers prefer to be recycling one story every time. They believe their PR will sell the movie regardless of the story and acting When our producers start prioritizing competency over nepotism, Nigeria movie industry has the potential to be one of the greatest movie producing countries in the world Till then, let’s keep dancing 😊

OMO ALE MACARONI. @mrmacaroni, your behavior is quite disappointing. If you genuinely respected your father, you wouldn’t have spoken to the president in such a manner. However, I understand that many people lack respect for their parents. One thing is certain: you will all end up embarrassed. President @officialABAT will be successful; he will not let Nigerians down. I don’t have anything more to add. @OfficialAPCNg @SenRemiTinubu @STinubu

Recently, I saw some posts about Nollywood and making most of our movies indoor. Indoor shooting is definitely more of a survival strategy than a creative choice, sadly our storytelling as filmmakers suffer because we're in a country that lacks structure and accountability, when we go outside to shoot, the incessant encounter with area boys is nothing to write home about. It’s even a question of safety now. Our stories are beginning to look disconnected from the authentic Nigerian Environment and we are growing weary of telling stories that rely heavily on the very typical Nigerian Community of today, this problem did not just start but we are Nigerians, we will always adjust right?

It’s over, Arsenal fans 😢 City won’t draw or lose to Burnley, we all know that already. The goal difference is just 1. So what exactly are you still hoping for🌚? If you can’t handle the pain, go to Mr. Bayo’s page, he’ll probably write another hopeful post for you all🙏🏽🚶‍➡️🚶‍➡️🚶‍➡️ See you all in the 2026/2027 season.

I’m still standing on business. Arsenal are NOT losing to Man City today, and they are winning the Premier League this season. Don’t be surprised if City struggle to break them down later. #MCIARS #PremierLeague

IMF has warned Nigerians that the nation's economic woes will worsen under Tinubu. This is not coming from Obidients. It's from the IMF. The message this sends is that you should not vote for Tinubu in 2027. Do not reinforce failure.
