@shwood @JustinRYoung I just learned about the Ghost Army unit the US used during WWII - Are you familiar with it? Seems like a good subject for a WGC episode.

@alphex @AnneMunition We should also consider the implications of such a precedent. Say someone is convicted of a crime in their early 20’s. They use that experience to turn their life around and educate others. It wouldn’t necessarily follow that they don’t deserve to lead.

@pennjillette @MrTeller I finally got to come to Vegas for a couple of days, but sadly, it seems you were going to be on the road. That didn’t stop me from hoofing it over from the Bellagio just for the photo op, however…

@DnD_Shorts It was BioWare at the top of their game, right before EA began systematically destroying the studio.

Best video game rpg is the original #MassEffect trilogy. It hits different man. Nothing ever came close. Change my mind.

@Kintinue The Martian. The movie is excellent, but the book is possibly the most literal textbook definition of science fiction, using extremely accurate science to tell a great fictional story.

@hackmer Most people will tell you to watch in release order, but I’d recommend chronological. It’s an experience few people get, and while it does spoil a few plot twists from older movies, it actually creates others that original fans already saw coming.

For someone who has NEVER watched any of the Star Wars movies… do you start at Episode 1 or Episode 4? Do you go in chronological order of the movie titles OR when the movies were made? And what do you do about Rogue One since it’s technically in between 3 and 4? #starwars

@quiddie Your current season of #dimension20 feels like the most comfortable fit I’ve seen for you as GM so far. Seems like you really thrive in a more narrative-focused system.

Dear Hollywood - please stop doing that thing where the airplane drops out of frame only to pop back up at the last second. Nobody’s falling for it anymore. Thank you.

@MrScottFletcher @CoffeePlz I don’t know what you guys are talking about, it’s just some butts artistically obscured by plants. It’s not like it’s something creepy like a couple of hands doing some gardening…

@CoffeePlz I still don’t know. It can’t be what it looks like. It must be something else. Please, for the live of Pete, reveal unto me the secrets.

“People don’t want apologies, they want confessions. They want you to stand there and list all the ways you’ve hurt them so they know you understand.” That’s such a great line and I’m jealous of whichever #UmbrellaAcademy writer came up with it.

Random thoughts: Science Fiction is an impermanent genre. Given enough time, all science fiction becomes alternative history fiction instead…
