@Montyly Web3 sec is currently only a $3B-$5B market if you put everything together, chump change considering their business model of tackling everything at once. Running a benchmark study and creating a generationally strong web3 AI auditor are totally different things

Honest question: if LLMs keep improving at coding, what's the point of building an AI audit SaaS? Won't we hit a point where anyone can vibe-code their own auditing agent? Or could we just customize claude/aardvark?

@Montyly LLMs out of the box won’t be amazing at auditing, since they weren’t built with that purpose in mind. The fact they are good at auditing is a side effect of all the other training they did. OpenAI and Anthropic don’t build base models with auditing in mind.

its all about the FP (False Positive) rate. say that a codebase with 1k SLOC strictly has 10 bugs. the AI finds those then... and also produces 300 False Positives which must be verified. huge cost, bad UX.
