I got it wrong, I hold my hands up. There’s one very small detail as to why it’s not announced (as he’s training with us) and that’s a little clause Hemel wanted added to his contract. Again, deal is 100% done, I just can’t tell you when it’s announced as I no longer know 😂

@rexhem17 Deals done, that’s assured. He’s been training with us today so that tells you everything. Why it hasn’t been announced is down to Hemel, believe it’s poor comms on when to both announce the deals happened. It’ll come in the next day(s). Again, I assure you it’s a done deal.

It’s done. A fee has finally been agreed & Samuel Adenola WILL join Dagenham. 3+ Week saga put to bed. Next up: Luke Jenkins to join if he proves fitness as trialist, then a backup GK. Official announcement in the next hours/days. #COYD #DRFC #Daggers

Dagenham still in for Samuel Adenola. Hemel making it very difficult for clubs to agree a fee. Little details are the reason it’s not been done. Samuel wants the move. A Backup keeper is also wanted, nothing concrete as of yet. #COYD

A little update for anyone interested: Announcement SHOULD be tomorrow & he should then feature in the Hitchin game (as he’s now fit & available if not mistaken, been training with Hemel till now.) Media work has already been done, just a matter of official comms from the club.

@CharlieDobbo09 I mean it should, I haven’t heard anything since last night about it not being announced today, but as we’ve seen, we had a transfer announcement pushed back. If it doesn’t happen today I’ll hold my hands up, but I’m still under the impression it should 🤝

@daggersforlife If I voice who’s told me/where I’ve heard this, I’ll get in shit but i can assure you a deal has been agreed, numerous bids later. Been in the works for weeks & he’s wanted the move since it first come about.
