Guys, the animation took a nose dive for Seven Havens. If you think this looks acceptable i don't know what to tell you. Korra for all it's flaws (many) was a FAR MORE ambitious looking production than this. This looks like something Netflix would dump on their platform.

Insomniac basically became the playbook for how a modern Spider-Man is supposed to move. Swinging through the city in those games builds a real connection to Peter because the movement itself is the focus, and it feels like a core part of his identity. Hearing the Brand New Day film is taking direct inspiration from PlayStation is a good sign. Previous movies had solid action scenes, but capturing that specific swinging momentum is a different challenge. Borrowing from the games doesn't guarantee this new movie will work, but it shows they genuinely want to get the traversal right. When a game nails a character this well, taking notes is just the smart play 🙃
