@GeorgiaTech Woodruff was built in 1984. I spent the first fall quarter there when it opened. My future wife was an RA there during the summer shakedown before it opened that fall. The fire alarms wouldn't stop going off!

Construction is moving quickly on the new Curran Street Residence Hall, with the south tower leading the way and the north tower not far behind. Set to open in August 2026, this will be Georgia Tech’s first traditional residence hall built in nearly 50 years.
