At Mestalla Stadium, there’s a quiet but powerful tribute, a statue of a man seated in the stands. He was a lifelong season ticket holder who, even after losing his sight through illness, kept attending every Valencia game with his son beside him. When he passed away, the club honoured that devotion by placing a statue in his original seat. His son still sits there today, right next to it ❤️👏

Sadly passed away on this day in 1989: Joe Harvey. Our longest serving captain and longest serving manager. He won 2 FA Cups 1951 & 52 with us as a player and as a manager he guided us to victory back in 1969 winning the European inter cities Fairs cup, This man deserves a statue

Another massive failure of VAR is that it’s made the @FA_PGMOL officials lazy. They’re so used to cameras allegedly doing their job for them, that when VAR isn’t in use, they don’t have the common sense to stick their flag up for a clear offside or a potential red card.
