This week we would like to honor correctional officers in our jails, prisons, and community correctional facilities by acknowledging National Correctional Officer’s Week. Thank you for your important contribution to the operation of our local correctional facilities!

We are pleased that the Washington State Senate has passed a measure to address the 2021 pursuits law. Legislators showed leadership and support for victims of crime. However there is more work to be done on this important issue in this session.
