@nw_nicholas It is good, I’m on episode 4. They probably should have just called Noah Wyle Carter as he’s the same as his ER character, just older and wiser.

Morgan McSweeney's phone was stolen. Tories making alot of noise. Fair enough. Boris Johnson accidentally deleted 5000 WhatsApp. Rishi Sunak flat out refused to comply with court order during the Covid Inquiry. #BBCBreakfast #r4today #GMB

The rules don’t need to be tightened up, the rules are clear. I would screenshot messages and post them onto my Ministerial private office group chat multiple times a day. It made sure that actions weren’t missed and that my ass was covered. Where are the McSweeney messages?
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

Wes Streeting admits that he uses disappearing messages on WhatsApp and says that he expects the rules will now be tightened up He tells @TimesRadio: '"Yes, I do have disappearing messages. I also routinely make sure that when I'm getting incoming from people, whether it's a member of parliament asking me to look into something or whether it's someone contacting me about something that's health and social care related, that I then relay that to and through the Department of Health and Social Care. 'We also publish transparency returns in terms of the meetings that we have, including meetings with journalists. There are standards of transparency and accountability. Those things matter." 'I suspect that off the back of this, there will be a reiteration of the expectations on ministers, special advisers and officials so that people are clear on the rules and expectations. People will want to tighten up on those fronts inevitably'

EXCL: Morgan McSweeney's mobile phone with texts to Peter Mandelson was stolen. These messages may be lost forever - meaning there there will be gaps in The Mandelson files published by No10. Phone was nicked and reported to police last year. thesun.co.uk/news/38591267/…

Sad news Tom Georgeson has died. He was in my play “Incomplete and Random Acts of Kindness” Upstairs @royalcourt in 2005 (here with Marion Bailey and Shaun Dingwall). He was incandescent and brilliant as the cab driver Ronnie watching his son going mad. What an actor. RIP Tom.

Couldn’t sleep last night! I fear it’s a grave mistake allowing a woman to abort a full term healthy baby for any reason & to not reinstate face to face consultations for abortion pills only safe to use up to ten weeks. Telemedicine is too easily lied to & undoubtedly will be. It’s already estimated 1 in 17 home abortions end up in A&E. There will be many more. It’s abandoning safeguarding for ease & any civilised rights a viable, innocent baby has. We have one of the longest abortion periods at 24 weeks in Europe & support for clinical abortion to term if any medical risk to the mother. I hope any future government will repeal this extension. And that we don’t lose women taking pills not designed to be used after ten weeks or paramedics called to homes unsure what to do with a live miscarried baby whose mother chose to terminate it? It’s a sad day

@pn_jordan_cross Criminal we’ve gone through the season with Charlie Kirk and made of paper Waddingham. 2 players you would barely want on the bench in league 1.

@FootballInT80s They were great. I remember listening to their commentaries of Liverpool, Villa and Forest in the proper European cup games of late 70’s and early 80’s.

There have been many fantastic TV commentators over the years that helped forge my love for football but my first experience was the radio. Crackling, poor quality sound for “exotic” European nights on Sport on 2. My two favourites will always be Bryon Butler & Peter Jones 🐐

🚨 Trump just threatened to nuke Iran: “The power of some of this weaponry is unthinkable. You don't even want to know about it. You could end this thing in 2 seconds if you wanted to.” Enough is enough. This is the second time he has threatened to use nukes. REMOVE HIM NOW!!!

I think that the biggest difference between the Iran war and the Vietnam war is Donald Trump knew how to get himself out of the Vietnam war.

OK, I am bored with this lie now. Here are the facts. - Abortion remains illegal after 24 weeks gestation except in certain rare and exceptional circumstances - Supplying pills to terminate a pregnancy remains illegal after 10 weeks gestation - Abortion still requires two doctors' signatures to be performed legally - Women seeking terminations must still meet one of the criteria set out in the 1967 Abortion Act - Forced abortion remains a crime - Anyone, including medical professionals, who helps a woman obtain an abortion outside the law is liable for prosecution. In short, "abortion up to birth" HAS NOT been legalised. What the new law does is prevent women from being criminalised for ending their own pregnancies without medical help - a hugely risky practice that women only do if they are desperate. Parliament recognises that these women need care and support, not draconian punishment. Importantly, the new law also protects women who have suffered late miscarriages or stillbirths from being prosecuted for their loss and potentially spending years in jail for what is a tragedy, not a crime. bills.parliament.uk/publications/5…

💔BREAKING: On a sad & shameful day for our nation, the House of Lords has just voted to allow abortion UP TO BIRTH to be introduced into law. This extreme proposal will endanger women & threaten the lives of viable unborn babies.🧵1/
