Thursday afternoon, Capt Phill Peters, a pilot from the South Sound Squadron, took advantage of the weather to give three cadets orientation rides in a Cessna 182. Cadets took turns sitting in the front while flying over southeast Washington state. #civilairpatrol #goflycap

We recently received of five new Cessna 172 Skyhawks, a Cessna 182 Skylane, and a Cessna 206 Turbo Stationair HD from @TextronAviation. These new aircraft join a fleet of 540 airplanes owned by #CivilAirPatrol — the world’s largest operator of @Cessna. 🛩️ bit.ly/48qDtTM

On Memorial Day, we remember those who have died in service to our country in the U.S. military. We also thank the many #CivilAirPatrol volunteers for showing their respects today by visiting cemeteries and memorials and participating in parades nationwide.

The Southwest Group coordinated a Search and Rescue Exercise (SAREX) this past Saturday. The SAREX incorporated trainees from across the wing. Event planners provided the training for Ground Teams, Aircrew, Mission Base Staff, and sUAS (drone) teams. #civilairpatrol
