@ammandev What do you do with the goalkeepers already in the squad? I agree that we need a new keeper but with a lack of any takers (especially after such high profile errors at the start of the season - from both!) What's the resolution?

I’d prefer us to get Senne Lammens. Longer shelf life, less problematic, Martinez has made some high profile errors and I’m not sure what he’s got left to prove and how he would want to shine at United. Either way, I just want a new goalkeeper. 😅

The worry must be Amorim’s system needs top-end specialists & nigh-on perfection in performance in every position. The difference between periods in games where United play well to when they play badly far too dramatic. (His subs also rarely make the team more cohesive)

Great to see so many of our Y1 parents come to our Maths talk after school. As well as explaining how we teach maths, and giving them hands-on experiences, I also explained the importance of Executive Function and their role in developing that. Also talked about screens/children

@MichaelRosenYes To be 'outside' of somewhere is the be within touching distance of the entrance or exterior of a building. Unless their is a predefined meeting place e.g. near the statue outside the stadium

For a particular reason I'll go into later, can people help me define the word 'outside', as in its sense of eg I met him 'outside' the Post Office? Or my friends were 'outside' the hall? Near? How near? What's the nearest distance that could no longer be counted as 'outside'?

@Headteacherchat Trained in the year that the tories binned it off. The educators on my PGCE explained that the entire course was set up to support us in implementing a curriculum that was no longer being introduced!

@berniewestacott I hope there is some serious research going on into the use of unregulated/unchecked screen time. Covid, I feel, merely quickened the effects. Something must be said for the way teachers were treated by government... especially during strike action

@tes Two in five are wrong. If you want a digital device for a lesson it needs to be supplied from the school. There are too many safeguarding and behavioural issues that will arise to a greater degree if students carry personal devices 😤
