@TheJemilah @AdekunleAbolaj1 The days of the week in Hausa are derives from Arabic numerals. Anyways, I’m no expert, it’s just general knowledge

For knowledge sake, are there indigenous Hausa names, aside, the modifications from Arabic and of course, Islam. If they exist, I am interested in knowing them

Wallahi Tallahi I agree 1000%. This is true. I wanted to highlight more areas of "collaboration" in light of discussion about Traditional Architecture.

@jikanMasani He repaired the Qibla direction because he learned how to repair it in hausaland from the Hausas. And anything he builds he definitely learns the architecture from hausaland because he was born in hausaland and spends all his life in hausaland

Al-Maghili and Sarki Rumfa built masallacin Kano in the 1490's but it was Abdullahi ibn Fodio in the Ramadan of Nov. 1807 that repaired the Qibla direction (after 300+) years. You learnt something today.

@jikanMasani We are talking about Hausa architecture not qibla directions. Even Usman learned all those things here in Hausaland from his Tuareg teacher he did not bring all those things from Senegal. Everything he does he definitely learns it in hausaland.

@WB2GUY @BrantPhilip_ That is another point. But we must not forget that in some communities in the north, people are cooperating with this terrorist. The Nigerian security architecture is a mess. We should used deep ISR, but the idiots ruling us don't care if many people die.

In retaliation to the ISWAP attacks that killed Nigerian Colonel I.A. Muhammad and six other soldiers in Monguno, troops destroyed and burned civilian infrastructure in the Chali 2 community of Monguno, accusing the locals of not reporting ISWAP infiltration into the town soon enough.

Brant@BrantPhilip_

ISWAP claimed responsibility for the attacks that targeted the Nigerian army in Monguno, stating that they assaulted a position in the outskirts to lure out reinforcements from the main military camp and target them with IEDs, the plan went on successfully and led to the death of seven soldiers including Colonel I.A. Muhammad, the death toll has also been confirmed by the Nigerian army.

@GallantDaletian So wrong for the Nigerian army they know they can't protect them if they report to them. How many times have they been and it TURNS out bad for them. Why can't they trace them in the bush or when they attack. If civilians side with the iswa it's going to be bloody for the army

On Tuesday, the Nigerian Army carried out burning and partial demolition in Chali 2 community, Monguno, Borno State. This followed an attack on Sunday where Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists ambushed troops from 242 Battalion, killing the commanding officer Lt. Col. Al Mohammed and six soldiers. The troops had run into multiple IEDs while moving to assess their Forward Operating Base after repelling an earlier attack. The Army moved against Chali 2 because troops believe the community failed to report terrorist presence and movements, and may have leaked military information. A source said past attacks on troops in Monguno were launched from or passed through the area. The demolition was stopped after higher authorities stepped in, with local leaders now expected to dialogue and cut any ties with terrorist groups The Army is creating a buffer zone around Monguno. Communities that turn a blind eye to terrorist movement add to the problems in the Northeast. The action came days after the Jilli airstrike, with Governor Zulum already warning communities against aiding terrorists. For the Army, the message is direct, protect troops by denying terrorists local cover, or face military action.

@DenzelUyi @BrantPhilip_ Even if they report the Nigerian army cannot later be able to protect them against this iswap. And if they report this iswap will later slaughter them. Why can't the Nigerian use surveillance drones to know where they are? Why can't they trace them when they attack their base

Whenever TwitteNG people see a military convoy of high ranking officers like Brigadier General or a Major General. I usually see a lot of people questioning how they become general. Some would even say they are political generals and are not useful. I just want to use this moment to inform people with such mentality that this is a little from what an average General pass through before becoming one. If you sit with any Major Gen and ask them about their experiences, it would be like film if they start to narrate. Some has been shot at multiple times and they are alive by the grace of God. So, whenever you see a General, please respect them. Peace to the fallen🕊️

A tragic incident occurred in Monguno, Borno State, where Colonel IA Mohammed and his team encountered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) while on a reinforcement mission. According to confirmed reports, the Colonel and four other personnel were killed in the blast. Peace to the fallen 🕊️🇳🇬
