Canola done, findings to come. Now for some sleep as it rains. These bloody things don't let us sleep. 1500ha canola in 7 days if it was all ready at same time, would have got our 1800ha done in 8

A Chem manufacturer needs to pick this product up again if it’s possible to do so. Vol canola in lupins just about the most popular query for 2025. Canola seeming to have dormancy for a few seasons too.

Never used the old eclipse herbicide but managed to find some old stock and perfect for vol canola in lupins. Eclipse 10g on left hand side. Picolinafen 50g on right hand side but looks like it will grow through the picolinafen.

@therealbiztang They all have their gremlins. It is the stubble affect and chem washing off and into the row that I am looking at closer now. Previously hadn’t given it attention, but plus and minus residue is interacting with bleaching after a rain event

@WBVerhoogt I aim for 30-40mm apart from where overlapped in sprayer (around power poles) and where double seeded (end and beginning of headlands that’s the only damage I’ve seen. OW is deadly if get depth wrong.

@WBVerhoogt Had a wing on our bar that was a bees dick too shallow and worse if there happened to be xtra trash in that section. Almost looked like a blocked head with over watch.

@DMAg_consultant @CropDoctor54 Did you include the proposed new rate paraquat? I’ve found the robust water rates and the slow walking speed with a handboom has still performed. I don’t think you’d expect the same in the field

Trial completed using all the new mixes (22) available and new yet to be released new actives to see what a post ‘paraquat’ world look’s like. Interactions with spikes, pre ems and sneak peak at what the new future pipe line ones can do for the grass control 👍 @CropDoctor54
