🏆ANYWAY’S ATHLETES OF THE MONTH-JUNE 2026🏆 Congratulations to Lillian Macias (Flag Football) and Maggie Hurley (Girls Volleyball) on being selected as the Anyway’s Athletes of the Month for June 2026!! Lillian Macias: Lillian delivered a stellar two-way performance for the Warriors at the Unrivaled Top 22 in the Nation Tournament in Canton, Ohio. She helped guide her team to a 2-2 record against elite national competition. As the team’s leading receiver, she consistently created separation and made clutch, spectacular diving catches to keep critical drives alive. On defense, Lillian was a constant disruptor, shutting down opponents with smart reads, quick closing speed, and exceptional flag-pulling technique. Her relentless effort and high-impact play on both sides of the ball cemented her status as one of the premier playmakers and most valuable competitors at the tournament. Maggie Hurley: Maggie Hurley made a massive impact both on and off the court this summer, highlighted by earning the prestigious "Champion of the Camp" honors at Girls Volleyball Champ Camp. In addition to competing hard alongside her high school peers, Maggie served as a positive, energetic volunteer coach for the kids' division, helping host a record-breaking 74 young campers. Her exceptional leadership carried over directly to club competition, where she guided her team to an outstanding third-place finish at the AAU Nationals. An incredible 4 days of Bears 11-ON and Bears Girls 7s brought together 32 teams, 800 athletes, 107 coaches, 96 games, 14 individual competitions, and $10,000 donated.
