𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 The Western Balkans Fund is happy to announce the launch of a new EU/WBF Joint Action Call for Proposals! This Call is open to all Civil Society Organizations and other eligible applicants in the Western Balkans Region

As a Fund, we are excited to continue building upon the historic achievements of the Sarajevo 2024. During Sarajevo’s tenure, for the first time in our history, we managed 5 different Calls for Proposals within a year. We established new partnerships and significantly our impact.

Today, during the final meeting of the year for the Council of Senior Officials, Prishtina assumed the Chairmanship-in-Office of the Western Balkans Fund, taking over from Sarajevo. Throughout 2025, the new Prishtina Chairmanship aims to implement a comprehensive growth plan.

The Western Balkans Fund and the International Visegrad Fund are happy to announce the first 41 winners of the joint Western Balkans-Visegrad Fellowship for researchers, lecturers, and scholars from V4 and WB. The winners were selected among 154 applicants.

𝗘𝗥𝗖 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁! With the application phase now over, we are proud to announce nearly 300 open applications, with half of them successfully submitting a project for the evaluation phase. The winning list is expected in September, implementation starting in October
