How about the last week for sophomore Rylee Wright. The two-sport fall athlete placed fourth in the state cc meet last weekend. Today she’s a state champion as a member of the Knights soccer team. She scored a goal & was named all tourney.

🥇4x100m • Boys Class AA: (Caleb Golden, Dominic Gianangeli, Joey Hall, Braden McWreath) with a time of 43.29. *New School Record*

Junior Alexa Loy finished 6th in the high jump. It’s the third straight season that she’s placed in the event. Congrats!

Girls 4x4 finishes fourth in the final event of the season. Team of Claire Kerr, Loni Kusic, Kayleigh Whittington & Elizabeth Steele turn in a 4:18.72. All four of those ladies will return in 2026. Girls finish with 29.5 points, which was good for 9th in the team race.

Freshman Loni Kusic finishes sixth in the 800. She ran 2:26.67, which is a PR. She was also 8th in the 400 earlier today. Two places is a wonderful way to end her season. Shes going to be a real good one before it’s all said and done.

🚨 State Championship Alert 🚨 Maroon Knights 4x1 team of Braden McWreath, Caleb Golden, Joey Hall & Dom Gianangeli win the AA title in the lap relay in 43.29. Knights won this event in Class A a year ago. A? AA? Doesn’t matter! Speed travels! Way to go, guys!

Our girls 4x1 team of Isabelle Cox, Morgan Ondrejko, Ally Jefferson & Kayleigh Whittington finish third in Class AA. Ran a 51.42 Similar to the 4x2, it was another big time drop. And we won the opening heat.

Knights 4x2 of Braden McWreath, Caleb Golden, Joey Hall & Dominic Gianangeli is Class AA state runnerup in 1:30.49 Season-best time. Finishes just two hundredths of a second behind the winner.

Congrats to our girls 4x2 team of Isabelle Cox, Claire Kerr, Morgan Ondrejko & Ally Jefferson for finishing third in the AA 4x2. We ran 1:48.69, which is a huge time drop from our best time this season, to win the first Heat.

Senior Braden McWreath is Class AA state runnerup in the 100M dash. Runs 10.94 for the silver. Classmate Dom Gianangeli finishes sixth. He’s now a two-event all stater this weekend. Both will be back on the track shortly in the 4x2 and 4x1. Let’s gooo! Congrats, guys!

Congrats to Senior Dom Gianangeli on placing 3rd in the 400M dash. He runs a 51.16 for the bronze out of the first heat.
