At the annual Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference awards luncheon, we honored WCC student athlete, Michael Mumme, who graduated with a perfect 4.0. We also celebrated President emeritus, Dr. Christine Sobek, and Dr. Mary Tosch who were both inducted into the ISCC Hall of Fame.

So happy for Dr. Amy Powers who was named AACC’s 2023 Faculty Member of the Year! So proud to have her part of Waubonsee’s outstanding faculty.

Learning alongside community college leaders from across the country at the annual convening of the American Association of Community Colleges.

What a great day! Started with the regional IDEA competition, then a watch party as we cheered our men’s basketball team to victory, and then a viewing at the Copley Theater of No Small Matter with an important discussion about the importance of early childhood education!

So proud of Waubonsee Men’s Basketball who overcame a halftime deficit to WIN their Region IV championship!
