Working on the catch, but the trust and cooperation for this group has been awesome to see.

Acrosport is in full swing today. Students are working in groups of their choice to create a rhythmic and acrobatic routine. Always awesome to see what they can come up with!

What better way to relax and have some fun after a day of testing than a day with the parachute?

Hanging out at the Chiller today with our 5th graders thanks to the @BlueJacketsNHL #PowerPlayChallenge and @ChillerIceRinks! 1st time ice skating for all but four students, so thank you for the awesome experience!

@ErnestClinksca2 I heard the principal can shoot a basketball over the school and make it every time.

Finishing up our basketball units this week and next. Ask your student if they can explain BEEF or teach you about how to dribble a basketball! We've been hard at work getting our hearts pumping during our Kids Heart Challenge, and basketball is a great way to do it!

3rd grade is practicing their setting skills before we start playing our games today. They're on a team for a 10 lesson unit on volleyball. 5th grade is finishing their volleyball tournament this week, and 4th is just starting. Volleyball!!!!

@thepespecialist In the past, I've had a running club meet during their recess time as I wasn't able to meet before/after school. I invited grades 3-5 and had challenges, games/activities in the gym. Often during my lunch, once things got going I could just observe. Students tracked themselves.

@thepespecialist You should check out @MarathonKids. They have some handy tools you could use or get ideas from.
