Last night, the @WCSOMA welcomed the families of BRTA #65 recruits for Family Night, offering a closer look at the academy experience. 🚨🚔

The @WCSOMA Mobile Command Unit rolled out to the Dr. Robert and Esther Goddard Centennial Celebration this past weekend. WCSO Staff Therapy K9 Milo, who is passionate about physics and rocketry, was also on-site to oversee operations and ensure everything ran smoothly. 🚀🌟

Last week was an especially exciting milestone for the recruits of the @WCSOMA BRTA #65. Recruits received their first introduction to On-the-Job Training, stepping inside the jail to experience what it’s like to work a shift as a Correctional Officer on a housing unit. 🚔🚨🌟

Last week, the @WCSOMA's Worcester Re-Entry & Fitchburg Support Center teams were out of the office and in the community at St. John's Food for the Poor Program. The teams helped with a meal service and connected with community members who may benefit from re-entry services. 🌟

@WCSOMA Basic Recruit Training Academy #65 is officially underway! 🚔 Week #1 wrapped up on Friday, and our recruits have already been immersed in a wide range of foundational topics. The class also received its first introduction to the academy’s physical fitness program.

Sheriff Evangelidis and @WCSOMA's Lt Decoteau participated in Boylston Elementary School’s Community Reading Day. 📚 ✏️ 🍎 While the Sheriff and LT. are usually a big hit, WCSO Staff Therapy Dog Milowas the star of the show. 🐾🐾

More #RandomActsOfKindnessDay celebrations! Over the past week, community teams with the Worcester County Sheriff's Office have been out and about, distributing 2,500 goodie bags throughout the county. 🌟🌟🌟

Through this initiative, our goal is to inspire acts of kindness across Worcester County while strengthening the connection between law enforcement and the community we serve. To many people’s surprise, there was no catch. We simply encouraged residents to “pass it on.”

Thank you to the Worcester County Reserve Deputy Sheriff's Assoc and the organizations that sponsored the initiative this year. McCarty Companies, Pepsi of Worcester & Windham, Rockland Trust, and CareOne at Millbury! Their generosity made it possible to provide 2,500 bags.
