Although Detective Josh Brown of the Forest Lake Police Department is no longer with us, his impact continues to be felt. This morning, we honored his contributions to the HIDTA mission and presented a plaque to his wife, Jenni. His legacy lives on in the work he helped shape.

Deputy Josh Liebenow #8 laced up for the annual Guns-N-Hoses Hockey Tournament! Police vs. Fire battled for bragging rights, and Team Guns took the 6-4 win. The real victory? Funds raised for The Frontline Foundation and ACPSPS. Huge thanks to LLVIPS for hosting!

1/2 🚨 SWAT Training in Lake Elmo Today 🚨 Residents may notice an increased law enforcement presence near Lake Elmo Avenue and Stillwater Blvd today. Our SWAT team is conducting a training exercise in the area until 5:30 PM.

Today we remember three heroes who gave everything on February 18, 2024. Officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge, and Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Finseth stepped into danger so others could live. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Ice Fishing on the St. Croix River? The Allen S. King Plant in Oak Park Heights is back in operation, which means ice conditions on the St. Croix River may change. Warmer water from plant operations can weaken ice. See the graphic below for recommended ice thickness guidelines.

This weekend, the Allen S. King plant in Oak Park Heights, MN will be operating. The plant’s operations may affect ice conditions on the St. Croix River starting on Saturday.
