The WCYO Percussion Ensemble was invited to perform at the 2022 Optimist African Championships Opening at Mykonos. They entertained the crowd during the parade with various numbers, including a Djembe number, which lent an authentic SA flavour to the event. #WCYO #mykonos #sa

The Senior WCYO surprised shoppers in the Weskus Mall on Saturday with a flash mob. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed the music and the players did a very good job. They are currently rehearsing their new 2022 repertoire and we cannot wait to show off more. Well done to everyone!

We are pleased to welcome Shadé Jansen to the WCMA and WCYO family. Shadé is from Cape Town, but she completed her master's degree in composition at the University of Pretoria. She is a pianist, accompanist, violin, and viola player and conductor. Welcome, Shadé.
