Congratulations to you, on finally making your “Bookmark” a dumping site. There’s this guy I know, his name is YOU. YOU is a jolly good fellow, who spends most of his time scrolling through the timeline, looking for alpha that will change his life. Thats a good thing to do though, but YOU have a very big problem. YOU will see an alpha and the first thing he’d hurriedly do is “bookmark” the post. Overtime, YOU have over 20 posts he had bookmarked within a very short period. Now, the problem with YOU is that YOU never go back to those posts he had bookmarked. it got me thinking, do YOU even know the meaning of Bookmark.. cos if he does, he won’t go about “bookmarking” everything he sees. I guess he doesn’t. So, lemme explain it to YOU. What is Bookmark? It’s a private way for you to save posts you want to find and revisit later, functioning like your personal, hidden collection or reading list. It’s accessible through a dedicated Bookmarks tab in your profile menu, allowing you to save and organize content without others knowing.  Why should you bookmark? ➥ Privacy: bookmarking a post is completely private, only you can see your saved bookmarks, and others don't know you've saved their post. ➥ Purpose: it’s a way of saving insightful threads, tutorials, news, or anything you deem valuable for future reference. You’re bookmarking a post because you find it useful but can’t go through it at that time probably because you’re busy or the post is lengthy. Secondly, you want to also fall back to the post easily without having to search for it. Don’t bookmark for later if you know you’ll never go back to it. It’s pointless doing so. I just hope YOU will pick a thing or two from this and start bookmarking with intentionality.
