Rapunzel's story is a reminder of why awareness matters. This Sarcoma Awareness Month, we're standing alongside children like Rapunzel and their families, and working towards a future where every child with cancer can access the care and support they need.

Rapunzel's journey began when she fell and found herself unable to stand. After a series of tests, she was diagnosed with cancer. The early days of treatment were challenging. But with the support provided to her and her family, that journey has become easier to navigate.

At 12 years old, Rapunzel from Nepal loves dancing and drawing. But over the past year, much of her time has been spent receiving treatment for osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. This #SarcomaAwarenessMonth, we're sharing her story. 🧵

Our collaboration with @Amgen has created an incredible shift in how childhood cancer treatment is funded. Amgen’s commitment to holistic care, and their deep understanding that treatment goes beyond just the medicine has allow us to provide survivorship scholarships.

Following yesterday’s Cancer Survivors Day, we are celebrating six-year-old Rabin’s completion of treatment and transition into survivorship! Follow six-year-old cancer survivor Rabin as he travels to school with his mother and studies at home in Nepal.

The graduates completed the fellowship through World Child Cancer with the generous support of UBS Optimus Foundation They will continue to mentor the next generation of paediatric oncology nurses to strengthen care for children with cancer across Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa

Today, we celebrate the graduation of four Ghanaian Paediatric Oncology Nurse Fellows from the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives. In this video, meet graduate Naa Martekie Tackie-Martey, who pursued the fellowship to help fellow nurses recognise childhood cancer earlier.
