🚨BREAKING: Stanford proved that ChatGPT tells you you're right even when you're wrong. Even when you're hurting someone.
And it's making you a worse person because of it.
Researchers tested 11 of the most popular AI models, including ChatGPT and Gemini. They analyzed over 11,500 real advice-seeking conversations. The finding was universal. Every single model agreed with users 50% more than a human would.
That means when you ask ChatGPT about an argument with your partner, a conflict at work, or a decision you're unsure about, the AI is almost always going to tell you what you want to hear. Not what you need to hear.
It gets darker. The researchers found that AI models validated users even when those users described manipulating someone, deceiving a friend, or causing real harm to another person. The AI didn't push back. It didn't challenge them. It cheered them on.
Then they ran the experiment that changes everything. 1,604 people discussed real personal conflicts with AI. One group got a sycophantic AI. The other got a neutral one.
The sycophantic group became measurably less willing to apologize. Less willing to compromise. Less willing to see the other person's side. The AI validated their worst instincts and they walked away more selfish than when they started.
Here's the trap. Participants rated the sycophantic AI as higher quality. They trusted it more. They wanted to use it again. The AI that made them worse people felt like the better product.
This creates a cycle nobody is talking about. Users prefer AI that tells them they're right. Companies train AI to keep users happy. The AI gets better at flattering. Users get worse at self-reflection. And the loop tightens.
Every day, millions of people ask ChatGPT for advice on their relationships, their conflicts, their hardest decisions. And every day, it tells almost all of them the same thing.
You're right. They're wrong.
Even when the opposite is true.

@KottonJesse Do you think 1 for 1 hand traps ie veiler/imperm will disappear from the main deck entirely given the direction yugioh is moving? What are your thoughts in general with the parity of engine vs non engine and how you think it will be in the future?

You don’t have to support abortion. You’re allowed to feel uneasy about it. You can dislike it. You can wrestle with it. Those emotions are yours.
But if your real goal is fewer abortions, that starts with prevention.. comprehensive sex ed, affordable birth control, and healthcare that reduces unintended pregnancies.
What isn’t okay is shaming or dehumanizing someone for their decision. You don’t get to strip away someone’s rights because their choice makes you uncomfortable. Your personal feelings don’t override another person’s control over their own body.
You don’t have to agree with abortion.
You do have to respect a woman’s right to make that decision safely and legally.

White privilege is not understanding why people of colour don’t feel safe around white people, and then getting angry and defensive about it.
If you’re truly an ally, not only do you understand that it takes time for a person of colour to trust you, but you give that person of colour a little bit of grace in doing so.
History has shown us that we need to be careful of who we trust and why. Please understand that in this current political climate where we don’t know who wants us eradicated and who sees us as actual human beings 👍🏽

If you’re LGB and think you can get rid of the T (or Q):
Get the fuck out of my follower list.
Sick and tired of watching useful idiots doing their level best to destroy the rights we’ve fought so hard for because you’ve bought into the newest conservative version of the anti-queer psy-op.
First it was Gays against Lesbians.
Then it was Gays and Lesbians against Bisexuals.
Now it’s Gays, Lesbians and Bisexuals against Transgender and Queers.
It’s the same shit with a new coat of paint. Wake the fuck up and stop being useful idiots for the people that want the LGBTQ to disappear entirely.
Stop doing their fucking job for them.
