There are about 22 million taxpayers in Canada. A $90 billion high-speed rail train would cost every single taxpayer $4,000. Just build. And that’s if it doesn’t go over budget. Before operating subsidies. The vast majority of those taxpayers would never set foot on it.

This project is long overdue,. densely populated areas in Canada need more high-speed rail. YOU EVEN STATE THIS IN YOUR OWN PLATFORM! When there's a future conservative government you will be long gone and hopefully that party leader will have a good head on their shoulders.

Pierre Poilievre on the Toronto–Quebec City High-Speed Rail Network: "Conservatives oppose the $90b Liberal-Alto train ... a future Conservative government will cancel this $90b boondoggle altogether."

I am very seriously considering the option of the US withdrawing from NATO, — Trump I think you made that decision before attacking Iran

@SoulDialectic @globepolitics @globeandmail Lol oh really? The words from most world leaders aside from Trump indicate otherwise. It likely just drives you nuts, so you pretend it's not true.

@SoulDialectic @OJoelsen The chocolate bars are made in Canada by mostly US owned Canadian companies. Doesn’t change the fact that they’re still made in Canada by Canadian companies by Canadian workers. If you want to go on a technicality then by all means.

Absolute bombshell. Russian Chechen combat units officially declare they will deploy to Iran to fight alongside Iranian forces if the US launches a ground invasion. They are openly framing it as a holy Jihad against American power. The conflict is expanding globally.

The flags are marketing. The real bosses are American companies using Canadian factories as a cheaper/export-friendly production line. It’s American chocolate in Canadian disguise. But enjoy 🤡 made by U.S.-headquartered giants: • Oh Henry! and Reese’s Sticks: Hershey (Pennsylvania, USA). • Mr. Big: Cadbury → Mondelez (Chicago-based after Kraft split). • 3 Musketeers: Mars Inc. (Virginia, USA). • Aero: Nestlé (strong U.S. operations)

let’s actually look inside the shelf in your Greenland pic. • Oh Henry! → Hershey (Pennsylvania, USA) • Reese’s Sticks → Hershey (USA) • 3 Musketeers → Mars (Virginia, USA) • Mr. Big → Cadbury/Mondelez (Chicago, USA) • Aero → Nestlé (Swiss… but wait) Four out of five are straight-up American multinationals. These are not Canadian products 🤡
