I began to lose feeling in my hands... We had been filming for almost 6 hours straight The temperatures began to dip below 0 as the night went on In an effort to keep warm, we would take breaks and head into a nearby coffee shop But with each and every time that we went in... It was less and less effective at warming us up. 1am 2am 3am The clock ticket by... The heat in the shop only worked in one spot and the rest of the place was like Ice "CUT" I ran back inside, my hands were shaky and they began to sting I was beginning to lose feeling in them completely, but I powered through. We were already so far behind schedule, we HAD to make this work After a series of setbacks that day, we were completely thrown off It was a nightmare, but we had to power through I was the main character after all and the rest of the crew depended on me to perform & endure. Even in excruciating pain I kept going, I wasn't being forced. This was my own decision. Eventually we caught up and just as I was on the verge of caving in I head it: "That's a wrap" I let out a sigh of relief and sprinted inside to warm up as fast as possible. My hands ended up recovering fine, luckily. But there is something that you NEED to take away from this... As a Business Owner you HAVE to be a leader. Leadership is a quality and it's a skill that can be built. You have to learn to endure, even in agony, stress or pain. This is the mindset that it takes to succeed in this game The will to see things through to the very end Without it you WILL fail, most people give in the MOMENT they feel the pain or pressure You must have the ability not only to withstand it But to perform EXCEPTIONALLY even with it on your shoulders This is your Journey, stop complaining. Cumulative moments like these are what got me to where I am today and I wouldn't change it for the world... Thanks for reading.
