It's the last day of exams at WECA!!! So proud of our students for showing up and showing out on their final exams.

Exams begin tomorrow for all WECA students!

WECA Fall 2019 Exam Schedule Exams begin on Friday, Dec. 6 and go through Wednesday, Dec. 11. Dec. 6 - English 2, Math 1, and Math 3 Dec. 9 - Biology & Block 1 Dec. 10 - Block 2 Dec. 11 - Block 3

Back on the Twitter scene! We're about 9 days out before final exams! Students and teachers are putting in serious work.

After attending today's funeral of our beloved Chazz I am convinced as ever that our lives are meaningful. We touch people in ways unimaginable. Chazz did that! His legacy of love, sincerity, and joy will forever live on at WECA and in the lives of those he came across.

Chazz's parents have been such a sign of strength even in this heartbreaking event. Their faith and love for life was reflected in how they raised their son. He embodied what was good and pure. Through their guidance and support he lived life to fullest!

I'm so proud of the many WECA students who attended today's service. There's no doubt they'll never be the same. Chazz has left his imprint on their hearts. The love is real!

Focusing on what matters most, keeping your eye on the prize, or keeping the main thing the main thing aren't mantras that permit u to walk through life alone or dismissing people u may have been meant to help. Purpose-driven isn't exclusion but rather connection. #WinTheDay

Chazz was a beloved member of our Wilson Early College Academy Family! He was a senior, and we will miss him terribly. We are heartbroken and ask that everyone please keep his family, friends, and our WECA staff and students in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Today we lost such a beautiful soul in Chazz Pender. The Tiger Family will never forget his smile, his love for basketball, and the fact that he was so likeable! We love you Chazz!
