Our 10th and 11th graders had a great time attending the Newton Tools & Trades event today! This was a wonderful opportunity for students to explore hands-on careers in the skilled trades and learn about the many pathways available after high school.

Hannah Morris is shining in our Senior Spotlight! A 2nd-year WBL student, Hannah has gained valuable hands-on experience working at Walton Eye Care. After graduation, she plans to enroll in college and pursue a degree in nursing, with her final college choice still to come.

The Warrior 4x100 Relay Team of Julian Sease, Cordelle Way, Desmond Parker and Derrick Bailey crushed the School Record enroute to a Walton County Championship and current GHSA 4A #2 time of 41.72!! Congrats guys.

Shoutout to Davis Gray & Rashaad Campbell for being named Dedicated Interns at ER Snell (2025–26)! Going above and beyond, focused on growth, and representing WBL with hard work and dedication. All Walton County students are incredibly appreciative of the opportunity.

Congratulations to Jackson Stallings, our Work-Based Learning Student of the Month! Jackson is a 2nd year WBL student working at Sweet Pea Kitchens as a server. His team absolutely loves having him because of his outstanding work ethic.

Chronic absenteeism is a major challenge in schools, often leading to student academic struggles. Yet, teachers are frequently blamed for the outcomes. It’s time to recognize that schools and teachers can’t be thought of as the sole solution to all of our kids’ challenges.
