- most anti-covid measures have been dropped in Saxony, but the virus doesn’t care, if you believe in it or not - most of the venues for #WGT are badly ventilated if at all - and it can get pretty warm in early June - packed public transfer in pandemic /w optional masks? cool

- the organisers of Wave Gotik Treffen reacted hostile and egotistical, when the city of #Leipzig thought about using the agra for refugees from #Ukraine - part of your ticket money will go to Brandenburg, a band from Moscow, which pays taxes in #Russia and thus finances the war

Liebes @WGT_LE, ich liebe das Festival & bin so oft wie möglich da, aber was ihr angesichts von Corona abliefert ist dünn. Null Kommunikation. Vertrösten, ducken, abwarten. Macht euch ehrlich: es gibt kein WGT 2020. Das ist traurig, aber Fakt. Also ab sofort Vorfreude auf 2021!
