Golf course practice to start STATE week!

Congratulations to Keagan Albertson, Riley Gauden and Isaiah Collins on qualifying for the state cross country meet. The boys will run at 2:45 PM on Saturday November 1 in Fort Dodge

Keagan and Riley place 4th and 11th for boys tonight! Boys take 3rd place as a team!

Alannah and Anika place top 15 for MS tonight!

Belmond meet! Girls won!! First time ever for West Hancock XC! Riley places individually!

Successful night for the boys at Humboldt! Placed 2nd as a team! Keagan and Riley placed 7-8 individually!

Tara - most improved! Aubrey - high flyer award! Addy - most valuable field event!

Girls place 4th tonight at Eagle Grove! It was a good first outdoor meet and a lot of good things happened! Ready for Monday!

Girls placed 6th as a team out of 10!

Conference meet tonight!! Iselle Weiland placed 17th making 2nd team all-conference and Tara Marchand placed 29th making 2nd team all-conference. Vanessa Mendez And Haylen Broshar came in 34 and 35! So close to 2nd team! On the boys side, Isaiah came in 31st and Riley 32nd!

It isn't very often when I watch an Iowa State game & have to look up who a player is. That happened last week with Rylan Barnes - a RS Fr. walk-on linebacker and the pride of Britt, Iowa & West Hancock High School legend. Tonight, he made his first start as a Cyclone and had NINE tackles! He was incredible! Making the story even more compelling: Mom and dad Barnes couldn't find time to make the trip. Harvest.✊ That's as Iowan as it comes. Let's hope that the crops turn out great and Rylan's family can be in Ames next week when the top-10 Cyclones will take on UCF in another Jack Trice night game. Two boys in the top 10 and 3 girls in the top 10 last night at Lake Mills! One MS girl in the top 10 as well. Lots of PRs and couldn’t have asked for better weather! They just keep improving each day and it’s so fun to watch!
