Well….played my final round for 2021 @WestHillsGC today. Had a great year at an amazing course. Thanks to all staff including @WestHillsSuper and @WHG_Asst_Super. We’re lucky to have you guys tending to our track!

Not sure if this is a divot or a soil profile. Please fill your divot/crater with the soil and seed provided, especially while playing the black decks.

To the staff of the West Hills Turf dept: You guys have created a work of art!!! The course has peaked for the C.C. this wknd!! I’m a pretty lucky super to have such a great group of people to prop me up!! Oh and good luck to the members as well!! @WHG_Asst_Super @WestHillsGC

The rainfall amounts for this year are twice that of last year but close to the average for the region. So far almost a foot of rain. The constant trap repair is wearing but despite that we began adding sand and will continue next week. Great to more forward! @WestHillsGC

So far this week the guys have added roughly 40 tons of sand to the bunkers, and have affected repairs to the liners below. In addition they have been working hard to repair corrupted and clogged drains like this one by 15 green. Man those guys are killing it. @WestHillsGC

5mls they said. 5 mls in about three minutes. It’s been quite a change from last year. 10 rain days so far as compared to zero last year, great for turf, lousy for customers. Sorry folks closed for the day. @WestHillsGC

These greens had ice dmge from this winter. For recovery both had the same over seeding apps, same fert apps, and same watering until we opened. 18 remained a temp and 9 we opened with rest of the course. Temp greens are a pain but the dividends are undeniable. @WestHillsGC

The turf team at West Hills pulled together on this one. Putting green project is near completion and now we can get back to maintaining the golf course! @WestHillsSuper @WHG_Asst_Super
