We are excited to announce a unique @WHInteraction event happening in a few weeks. @QuantumTheatre is staging the North American premiere of the one-man play THE RETURN OF BENJAMIN LAY and Marcus Rediker and @markpovinelli will be joining us to meet our students.

We are excited to officially announce this year's One Book, One District pick: NIGERIA JONES by Ibi Zoboi! Free copies of the novel are now available from two of our community partners, C.C. Mellor Library and the Carnegie Free Library of Swissvale. Stop by and get one today!

Back in 2022 we hosted @stewartonan to discuss his novel OCEAN STATE. In the coming weeks, we are studying the book again with a new group of students - we can't wait for them to enter the world of Ashaway, RI and the spend time with Angel, Marie, and Birdy.

Our remote library locker is brimming with books! With their library cards, our students can request books, video games, and more from any public library in Allegheny Co. Thanks to Ms. Amy from @CCMellorLibrary for visiting and showing our students how to navigate the catalog.

Last week @WHInteraction welcomed Tony McAleer & Peter Hutchison for a powerful event and conversation about THE CURE FOR HATE. We were also joined by students from Dickson Intermediate STEAM Academy and Deer Lakes High School. Thank you to Film Pittsburgh!
