I've always been passionate about Call of Duty, spending countless hours grinding for nukes, gameplays, and camos year after year. I often wondered if I could translate that dedication into real life. I've always seen myself as someone with a lot of potential, but I never had the motivation to do anything with it - until I moved to Spain last year.
Moving to Spain was a bold, spontaneous decision, but it's easily the best thing I've ever done for myself. 2024 has been fkn amazing so far! I’ve met some of my closest online friends in person for the first time and gone on so many cool trips where I pushed myself out of my comfort zone.
In Spain, I worked for an international company hired by a danish company. In May, I had the opportunity to move back to Denmark and work at the main office - which I went for. Recently, a higher position opened up which is something i also went for! I dedicated countless hours to getting ready for interview where I had to prepare a 30 minute presentation. I had my interview almost a week ago. Thursday I got the call where they offered me the job and will be starting September 1st! (It’s still the same company and area, just a different role that comes with a lot more responsibility).
I’ve been on a nice little trip for the last 4-5 days, where I’ve been able to reflect on everything that’s happened lately. I'm super proud of how far I've come - from being isolated and gaming 24/7 to literally taking control of my life, doing whatever I want. And I’m only just getting started. The possibilities are endless🙏
