From 10–13 March 2026, WACSI supported CSO partners across Ghana, engaging Rights and Advocacy Initiatives Network, @elizka_relief, West African Primate Conservation Action, Wildlife & Human Resources Organisation - Ghana, and Concerned Citizens of Atewa Landscape.

As a technical consultant, @WHRO_GHANA is supporting scientific assessments and restoration planning to ensure sustainable mangrove recovery. Restoring ecosystems. Strengthening livelihoods. Building coastal resilience. #WHROGhana #ClimateAction

Through the #IRCC Project led by @ActionAidGhana with partners @Habitat_org and @UNHABITAT funded by @adaptationfund, efforts are underway to restore 450 hectares of mangroves across 11 coastal communities in Ada East, Ada West, and Anloga. #NatureBasedSolutions

🌿Hope for Coastal Communities #Mangroves protect shorelines, support fisheries, and sustain biodiversity. Yet many of these ecosystems in coastal Ghana have been heavily degraded over the years due to overexploitation, habitat conversion, and pollution. #MangroveRestoration
