“Throughout the past five years, Mr. Stephen Grillo has patrolled our campus as our campus safety monitor. Woodland High School students describe him as the 'go-to' when they need support. He takes time to get to know them and does his best to provide support that helps them succeed. Our staff continues to sing Mr. Grillo’s praises for his due diligence in ensuring campus safety. He is a key lever in maintaining a safe and orderly environment at Woodland High School. It is not uncommon for Mr. Grillo to finish the day with 25,000 steps, as he is constantly moving to meet our needs. We are proud to have him as a member of our staff, and he is very deserving of the ESPY honor.” Our educational support personnel make our schools and district better and stronger in ways that often go unseen.
