An angry farmer from Kapsabet, Nandi County has poured hundreds of litres of milk he was transporting to a local milk processing plant. The farmer was allegedly angered by the low prices of milk that have seen farmers not able to sustain their livestock due to the high production costs that have been occasioned by the high fuel prices! Kenyans across the country are now between a hard place and a rock. The situation is getting out of hand as Kenyans are no longer able to sustain their day to day lives. These are some of the reasons we insist that RUTO MUST GO!

Ruto’s problem is his messiah attitude and low self esteem. The guy thinks he is the savior of Kenya and the best thing that ever happened to us. When Kenyans questions or criticize the priorities of his government, because of low self esteem, he interprets the criticism as an attack on him, the person. One of the main purposes of government is to promote the general welfare of the citizens by managing the economy, regulating industries to ensure a basic level of health and safety, and providing social safety nets for the people. In well run governments, when there is public outcry on any issue, those running the government will listen and recalibrate government policies to address the concerns of its people. But here in Kenya under Ruto, when Kenyans raise concerns about the higher costs of living or exorbitant costs of fuel, the government trivializes the public concerns. Rather than deal with the real issues raised, we are treated to propaganda and PR. Ruto is interested in managing the narrative and not fixing the issues. In 2023 when Kenyans were complaining of higher costs of living led by Raila Odinga and Kalonzo, Ruto trivialized them and profiled Luos and Kambas. He called Luos as goons na wang’oaji reli, who instead of going to farm their land, are in the streets with sufuria in their heads waiting for wengine to plant maize for them and then demand for prices to come down. Luos were even told that they catch fish for free in lake Victoria and no one has ever demonstrated to ask them to reduce the prices of fish. His government then unleashed a wave of state terrorism in areas perceived to be inhabited by Luos, killing many Kenyans in the name of teaching Luos a lesson. Some of us still remember the Luo massacres of 2023. The Ruto government repeated the same pattern with the 2024 finance bill demonstrations and now the high fuel demonstrations, which he believes are led by Kikuyus. Ruto thinks Kenyans are not happy with his government because he is a Kalenjine, a point he sends wakina Sudi, Murkomen, Hassan Omar, Mbadi, etc to tell us every day. For the sake of Kenya, we hope Ruto will realizes that Kenyans are not happy with the incompetence and insensitivity of his government and not his tribe. Hopefully he will seek to solve the problem by offering solutions and not just managing narrative and propaganda. We must all remember Kenya is bigger than one person.

Eunice Igamba, a 72-year-old woman from Embu, has been serving a life sentence at Embu Women’s Prison for the past 15 years for a crime she maintains she did not commit.The incident occurred when her husband was involved in a fight with his nephew (his brother’s son), who was drunk. Eunice’s brother-in-law intervened to separate them but was accidentally struck during the scuffle. He lost consciousness, was rushed to hospital, and later passed away. Despite not being directly involved in the fight, Eunice and her husband were arrested after the deceased’s son reported to the police that the couple had assaulted him, resulting in his father’s death.Both were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment. Eunice’s husband is serving his term at Embu Main Prison. They occasionally see each other during court appearances and continue to encourage one another. While in prison, the couple lost their son, who was buried without their presence. Their only surviving child is struggling to support his own family and rarely manages to visit them.Eunice remains hopeful that God will one day prove her innocence and grant her freedom. She is appealing to well-wishers and compassionate individuals to visit her at Embu Women’s Prison and offer basic items such as soap and tissue paper. She feels deeply saddened watching other inmates receive regular visitors, money, and food while she has no one to depend on.

Kabuga was later arrested in Paris, France, in 2020 after being on the run for over 26 years. He had been using a false identity to avoid capture. Kabuga died yesterday at the ICC detention facility in The Hague.

A family in Ndumberi, Kiambu County, is in mourning after their son George Chira Njuguna traveled to Dubai on April 1st, 2026, in search of a better life and never came back. George had been connected to a travel agent named Nduta, the daughter of his mother's closest friend. The family trusted her fully because of that bond. But from the moment he left, things began to unravel. Nduta did not show up at the airport on the day of travel. She sent a man named Silas in her place. George boarded his flight, said an emotional goodbye to his mother and wife, and called hours later to confirm he had arrived safely in Dubai. That same night, no one came to pick him up. The following morning he called his mother, hungry and stranded, and begged her to send money for food. She did. Shortly after, he called one last time to say someone had finally come for him. That was the last she ever heard from him. Days passed in silence. When the family pressed Nduta for answers, she told them not to worry. Silas then called to claim George was being deported for being mentally unstable. His mother simply asked them to put him on a plane and send him home. The family reported the matter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and were told to wait. Three days later, the news came. George had died on April 14th, 2026, in a road accident in Dubai. His body was taken to Ramayan Morgue. He was 14 days into a journey he never returned from.
