We’re now wrapping up the morning session of the 2024 Canadian Light Source (CLS) AUM, and winding down with lunch and a poster session. What an engaging day so far - thank you to all our attendees as well as our CLS co-hosts!

We are excited to see how innovations in materials research can address the critical challenges in our healthcare system. Be sure to join in on this Exposition by @WaterlooCBB.

In the afternoon session, we were given a presentation by Alain Tchagang from NRC. This was followed by a panel discussion featuring Alain Tchagang, Robert Black, Scott Hopkins, and Robert Ziner, with Sushanta Mitra and Conrad Feugmo as the moderators.

Thank you to our wonderful guest speakers from the Korea Institute of Material Science (KIMS): Dr Se-Jong Kim, Dr. Ho-won Lee, Dr. Se-hyeok Oh, and Dr. Jai-myun Jung. The presentations sparked many engaging discussions with the audience!

We’re pleased to have Professor Bernard Dunker starting us off, and Scott Hopkins delivering an insightful opening keynote.

We’re kicking off our joint symposium with Waterloo.AI with a delicious breakfast and opening remarks by Sushanta Mitra.
