@Wise Today, to verify my account for the eleventeenth time, you required a deposit of $20, which you claimed I could recoup after verifying. When i tried to recover the $20, you gifted yourself a fee of $1.13. This is extortion, and this is a crime. Great business model!

"0% fees" doesn't mean free 🚨
It means the fee is hidden in the exchange rate or somewhere else.
The reality is that Australian banks are charging markups of up to 3.92% while advertising $0 transfer fees 🕵️ That hidden gap cost Australians $6 billion in 2025 alone. And regulators? Still treating disclosure as optional.
We won't stand for it! We need mandatory disclosure of all fees including FX markups against a uniform, independent benchmark rate, so Australians can get a financial system more built on honesty.

The merchant turns to be a scammer or dishonest and your team is denying to file a chargeback and simply let visa settle the dispute, many like me complaining about your systemic approach with dispute denials.

@Genifi_io Indeed. It's always good to compare fees and the final amount received. We use the mid-market rate for all conversions with no hidden fees. While some providers may appear to have a better price, they often don't account for the hidden costs tacked on afterward.

@Wise Your team is refusing to submit my card dispute to Visa, despite that the merchant is acting deceitfully. You didn’t even elaborate the exact reasons for the rejection, and this seems to be a systemic approach as I see many complaining about the same approach. 1/2
