ENGLISH AND COMPUTING IN YEAR 3 In our English lessons we will be writing an explanation text about ‘How Light Works’. We have been using the laptops to access the BBC Bitesize website to do our research and we made notes ready to write the explanation text later this week.

How lucky we were to have Santa come for Breakfast!

Congratulations to our Y5 dodgeball team on winning the year 5 Values Dodgeball event. They have now qualified for the County event in November.

Despite the pouring rain and the difficulties it presented, our year 5 and 6 girl's football team demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and strong teamwork. These experiences will serve as valuable lessons for future tournaments. GO GIRLS!

Active Play Clothing As part of our Active Play initiative, from September children are encouraged to access play across the whole outdoor site, including the fields, regardless of weather. Your child will need to bring everyday: A coat with hood and a pair of named wellies

YEAR 5 and 6 RESIDENTIAL A message from Mrs Haughey: Everything is going really well at The Manor Adventure. There are lots of challenges for the children to have a go at and we are super proud of how they have used their determined, resilient and brave learning behaviours!

Straight into the activities with a bang! This afternoon, the children have been practicing their BMX skills, partaking in an obstacle course and having a go at the blind trail! So much fun already!

Year 5 and 6 spent the morning learning some survival skills before their departure to Manor Adventure. This included some tying knots 🪢
