Whilst we had the news yesterday that this was our last day on the Jamboree site we wanted to make sure it was a memorable one! We had a culture day of our own and invited the world to have some #BlackpoolRock #ChorleyCakes and a Crackin brew! @LancashireTea #UK25WSJ

This is Hannah, 17, from @WestLancsScouts who is currently on her way to the World Scout Jamboree in Korea. She said “I’m very excited! I’m looking forward to meeting people from different countries and exploring new places.”

Meet Eoghan, 14, from @WestLancsScouts who’s heading off to Korea with @UKContingent today. He says “I’ve never been abroad before and with all the different languages that will be spoken at the Jamboree, I’m looking forward to improving my communication skills.”

Henry, 16, from @WestLancsScouts set off the Jamboree in Korea this morning and told me “It’s like nothing I’ve ever done before! Im nervous about the heat and humidity - we’re not used to it in the UK. We’ve done lots of training and fundraising and I feel very well prepared”.
