The in-game event "Blackout" is live in #EscapefromTarkov. Skier has discovered a vulnerability in the Lab’s security system and plans to strip the facility clean. Information this valuable was never going to stay secret for long, and now all kinds of interested parties are converging on the underground complex - each with their own motives. However, someone else was already one step ahead: a team of unidentified operatives in black had infiltrated the Lab. What they're searching for remains unknown, but their presence poses a serious threat. The event's end date will be announced later. Complete the associated tasks to earn a unique achievement.

@tarkov can someone explain why does it always take so long?

We have started the installation of update 1.0.6.5 for #EscapefromTarkov. The installation will take between 4 and 6 hours, but may be extended if required. The game will be unavailable during this time.

@rattecs the updates we are getting feel braindead, but they are trying to futureproof the game. Any changes are met with insane negative feedback, so valve is suuuper slow with pumping out content. The game will live on

at this point what the f*ck is Valve doing swapping Mirage with Cache would have been the least painful way of moving a 13 year old dated Source 1 looking map to a rework, a classic replacing a classic they removed Overpass, added it again with almost no changes and now are removing it again, what is the point? not to mention that now we have arguably the most pug-y map pool of all time with Mirage, Dust II and Cache if you’re always gonna remove the least played map, then we are stuck with the same 6 maps forever just makes me think they dont know what they’re doing either, just look what they did to Vertigo
